Apple closes almost 100 Apple stores due to Covid-19

Apple has decided to close 95 Apple Stores in multiple countries in light of the Covid-19 situation. These closings have occurred in various locations this week.

Most of it takes place in the USA on the California side. All Apple stores in the US state have closed as a precaution. The region had a record number of people infected with Covid-19 in one day. Apple has decided to temporarily close its stores during this holiday season. The same goes for the state of Tennessee.

In addition to the USA, Apple has closed 15 Apple Stores in England in the London area and one Apple Store in Wales. This is explained by a renewed containment in London and part of England. In addition, the two Apple stores in Mexico and Brazil have closed due to Covid-19.

Apple has 509 Apple Stores worldwide. 401 are still open, reports 9to5Mac. This means that a fifth of the stores are still temporarily closed. And again some are open, but only offer pick-up and customer service.

What about france? The day before yesterday we learned that the French Apple Stores can be reached again without an appointment. However, there are limitations (see this article).
